Where can I find a really good buffalo chicken wrap in Atlanta?

Which is healthier, Chicken Salad Wrap or Turkey Caesar Wrap?

  • So I am kinda on a diet and I am going to this grill for Orchestra and these 2 are the healthiest things on the menu besides pasta, which I don't think is healthier, unless it is. I was wondering which is healither, Chicken Salad Wrap or a Turkey Caesar Wrap. I have no idea what is on which, but if you are answering, just think about what would usually be on these two wraps.

I understand that it's difficult choosing something on a menu while dieting, and it's great that you're looking things up before you go! Wraps aren't necessarily healthy though, and can pack as much fat and calories as a plate of pasta (with red sauce. Sauces like alfredo and oil based may pack more...) The generic chicken salad wrap can have anywhere from 500 calories and up. The tortilla part (wrap) can have 200 calories itself! Let alone the salad with mayonnaise (assuming it's full fat, as that's what most restaurants use) and who knows how much chicken (which isn't high calorie, but still counts.) This information is for a generic chicken sandwich, but it has to be pretty similar, depending on size. http://www.calorieking.com/foods/calories-in-sandwiches-wraps-sandwich-chicken-5-oz-salad-w-mayo-3-oz-bread_f-ZmlkPTY3ODMy.html The generic turkey caear wrap can have 370 calories and up. Same deal, depends on the tortilla, how much turkey, and the fattening, calorie laden caesar dressing. This is also for a turkey caesar sandwich, but it'd be to your best judgement to add more calories. http://www.calorieking.com/foods/calories-in-sandwiches-burgers-tims-own-sandwiches-turkey-caesar_f-ZmlkPTE4MzkwMg.html I would go with the turkey wrap, honestly. At least with that, you can ask for the dressing on the side and control how much you're putting on. Plus, I like turkey better then chicken most of the time. :) Hope this helps!

I don't think either of them are good. Basic rule of thumb: when eating out, nothing is healthy unless you request modifications. Ask for the turkey ceasar wrap on a whole wheat wrap, extra lettuce and vegetables, no sauce, no cheese.

Those two items you listed could potentially be some of the most fattening on the menu depending upon where you are going. Things with the world salad in them for example usually contain large amounts of mayonaise. Take subway for example. One of the worst calorie and fat wise on the menu... tuna salad. If you have access to the calorie content of both these items choose the one with the lowest calorie count. If they ae the same choose the one with less fat or higher fiber
