Does it matter what kind of tapioca pearls i use in boba/sago?
-
i want to make some homemade boba/bubble tea/sago but i only have dried, white tapioca pearls. Will those work? or do i need the black ones? (if you live in AZ, then can you tell me where to get the black pearls?)

Answer:
Do not use the black ones. They are the eggs of the rare Indonesian marsupial rat. The white ones are the proper substitute.
