How to stop AIM from popping up?

My mom gets mad when she signs onto her account and aim pops up? how to i prevent that?

  • I want to get rid of aim on her desktop, or stop it from popping up. But keep aim on mine.

    I'm assuming you have windows right? Do the following: -Go on aim on your mother windows account -Press edit then settings -go to the sign in/ sign out tab -uncheck "Start AIM when Windows starts" -Then save

Go to Start>Accesories>Run Type msconfig Go to startup Uncheck Aim so it doesn't start when she logs in.

Go to Start >> Run >> MSCONFIG and uncheck AIM in the box. You'll have to restart your computer, but that should keep it from starting when you boot up your computer.

open aim go to settings and find the way to only make it open on a click sorry i can't help more i deleted mine!!

Right click on the icon in the taskbar and click Options or Settings or Preferences (something like that) and un-check start when windows starts up. (something similar (i don't have aim))

when it first signs on sign right back out and there should be like 3 things to save your user name save your password and one to make it automatically sign in unclick that one :)
