What is the IB diploma program?

  ok here the thing there are six groups, u choose six subjects: group one is a language (usually ur mother tone) group two is another language group three is humanities such as geography, history, B&M, ecconomics, accounting group 4 is the science, BIO CHEM PHY 5 is math, u choose between math studies (easiest), math standard then math HL (hardest, so hard u should think of taking it) and last group which is arts like art, music anways u have to choose a subject from the first five groups, ur sixth subject can be any of the 6 groups....meaning u dont have to take a g6 subject if u dont... beside that, u have to do 3 other things CAS which is creativity, action and service, which is about 50 hours each and u have to meet 8 different criteras... TOK which is theory of knowledge which is like epistimology courses but easier and EE or the extended essay, which is a 4000 word research paper written in a formal manner, similar to college level papers(good practice for unis) other points, most of ur subject, u do enternal assesments which is between 20-30% of the overall grades, enternal assesments r what u do in home or school, for example, 24 percent of my physics mark is on my lab reports, 25% of my B&M is on the 2000 word essay ill hand in on a bussiness...so what u could say, is that quarter of ur marks are free!!!! I would advice u to take to ur school's IB coordenator for further info on the IB, and ur school counseler on weither IB is the best program for u... Hope i helped
