Whats the best way to study?

  • Whats the best way for me to study for my test? That way I can remember stuff!!

  • Answer:

It depends what class you are studying for. Some classes you can study by memorizing information (ex: equations, history dates, etc). Others you have to understand a process, like physiology, you have to understand how each part of the body works together in order to achieve something. I also agree with somebody who said it also depends on how you learn best. Some people retain information by writing notes. Some learn by listening to others or hearing themselves read the information. Some do better with groups studies, some don't. Some learn best when they have to teach/discuss the topic with somebody else. So depending on these factors, you can either memorize, read the information over and over, make flash cards, take notes, read out loud to yourself, or listen to lectures or recordings. Make sure you take breaks at least every couple of hours of studying! Do something fun like watch 15-30 mins of tv or listen to music, whatever you enjoy. Goodluck! Hope you do well!

The best way to study depends on how you learn best...are you primarily an auditory, visual, or some other kind of learner? You have to determine that first and then you go from there. Insofar as music, some people study better with music, some need quiet, and some need something in between. You've got to decide for yourself what is best for you.

Be in a room that is relaxing to you. Make sure all the stuff you need to study are spread out in a neat form so you can go from one piece of paper to another. If your studying on the computer then print out the page because i think its easier to study when you have the material in front of you physically. And the best way to remember what your studying is to say the stuff out loud. For example if you need to learn the definition of a word say the word and then the definition. After you would write it about 5 times. If you do that with the stuff you have to study then for sure you will remember the material. Oh and get a good nights rest. And have a healthy meal.

Be as comfortable as you want, when you study at home. Listen to some relaxing music and take a break to eat a snack during your study sessions. But, most importantly, be as focused as possible when you're doing your homework/reading your textbook.

usually i would do past year questions, or maybe get some books on question that usually would asked form the topic and do many of them. After few times, i start to understand better and memorise the facts, more like memorising the answer. its better than reading the book all day long and hoping that you can remember the facts magically without doing anything. answer questions helps you know what is needed to be focused on the topic, so you won't waste time focusing on less important facts. i like this way too because it is like a hunt to find for the answer.

*A small room. I've used my closet before. *Get a partner (mom friend etc) and let them quiz you on information. *Absolutely no music or T.V *run a few miles and take a shower. This'll get you relaxed *Go to the library
