What's the best nursing school?

Whats the best way to withdraw from nursing school?

  • Im in nursing school right now(A.T.S), going for my l.p.n. I just started school in may and our semester is over in a few weeks. It was nice at first, but now I'm not getting good vibes. Their not accredited, the r.n. program is on probation, alot of nursing homes in cleveland ohio won't even accept students that attend this school. I want to go somewhere else and i'm really thinking about withdrawing. The administration here said to just finish this semester, then withdraw so I won't have to pay anything, and my financial aid won't be affected. I really want to know is this true because I'm looking forward to going to another nursing school real soon and Im sure i'll need financial aid............so can someone plz let me know if it's ok to withdraw now? or do what the school said and just wait so i won't get penalized. thanks

  • Answer:

If it's only a few more weeks, wait until the end of the term. I can't tell from your question if you've already been accepted into another program, but if not it won't look good to schools you're applying to that you "dropped out." Ditto with your future job search. Plus, they're right about the financial aid. They won't want to give you any if you've quit on something that you had previous financial aid for. Good luck.
