Law stating that basic pay should be higher than any allowances?

Law stating that maine schools must pay for private schooling if they can not meet the needs of the child?

I need to find the maine law that states that a school union must pay for an alternate placement (ie. private school) if the union can not provide for the needs of a child with a disability.

I don't believe it is a Maine Law - you should research under IDEA and see what the wording is there re: Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) You might find something there that can help you.

I am not sure that is a Maine law, I think it is a federal law. You should probably start with federal laws first, because I know its a law in Ohio and Maryland.
