Who can help me access any grant that will help me persue my studies?

  • Am moses makori from Kenya here in East Africa and i have a problem that i want to kindly ask for assistance from anyone.I finished my High school in the year 2002 and i was required to join one of the University here at home,i have not been able to start by university studies because of my humble background and lack of money to start my studies.However the university have given me the last chance come next month to start my studies failure to which my admission will be nullified but unfortunately am not able since i have got no money.i was kindly requesting anyone to assist me no matter how much to at least start me off.the degree programme takes four academic years at a cost of $6500.please assist me persue my dreams and God will bless you.you are the only hope i have left as of now since i have tried so hard to get any aid from anyone i have shared my story with but it has been unsuccessful.please help me, am waiting for your response my future and dream is in your able hands. please help .Bye.

There are several grants out there. I used a pell grant which is determined by your income. Also their are agencies out there that loan money to help you through college. One thing i did and it made all the difference in my education was to obtain jobs with a college working in such areas as house keeping (custodial work),grounds keeping,etc. Some colleges offer free or low cost tuition if you are employed by them. You can work and get paid for your work plus the major help with tuition. Give it a try. If you are motivated and persistent enough,things will work out well for you. Walter C.
