Has anyone worked at "The Childrens Place"?

Has anyone here ever worked at or eaten at Jerry's Famous Deli?

  • I worked at the one in Beverly Hills and let me tell you, I am soooo glad to be out of that place! The people that run the place are horribly rude and don't care about their employees in the slightest. The entire place seems to be covered in a cloud of negativity. I was just curious if anyone had any similar working or dining experiences there.

    I've eaten at the one in Studio City. Some servers seemed to have a bit of an attitude (I thought that was part of their "charm" - NOT!) Sorry that you had a bad experience. Good for you that you left!

I live in Northern Ca., but eat at Jerrys in SFV and Marina Del Rey a couple of times each year I love the place and am sorry to hear your experience as an employee has been unpleasant. Have you ever voiced your concerns. It doesn't hurt, even though you have left the place. Perhaps your concerns can improve conditions for those who remain.

I have dined at the original Jerrys in Studio City, and at the Warner Center and Marina Del Rey locations... never had a bad meal, service is usually good to very good. Sometimes everyone in Beverly Hills needs an attitude adjustment. Try the other locations.

Ate at the Westwood location once. Investigated a few food poisoning outbreaks involving various Jerry's locations (never the same one twice!).

I used to eat at the one in Studio City - then it burnt down. Once they rebuilt it, we all headed back in in droves - but all of my friends kept getting food poisoning there - so I stopped going. Plus, it's extremely overpriced. I mean, they charge $9 for a grilled cheese & some french fries. COME ON!

No I never ate there. But I did work for a coffee shop that I loved. Then when I was transfered to another store found it to be similar to your experience so I moved on! power to you!
