What is good,bad for Chicago chinatown?

I never go to chinatown..so ..what is good for chinatown. and what is bad for china? thank you ! and best food !

Personally I like Won Kow the best followed by Ed's Pot Sticker House (which is actually on Halsted at the *** end of Chinatown) and Moon Palace. I think every restaurant in Chinatown does something well. Won Kow serves the best Hunan style food in the city, it's actually the only dish I order there along with won-ton soup and the BBQ pork appetizer. If I don't have a taste for Hunan beef or Chicken I always go to Ed's because they do everything well, and they have these odd cigar shaped pot stickers with the best dipping sauce in the city. Since it's off of the main Chinatown strip, you won't find an tourists there...only real live Chinese immigrants, so this food is as close to authentic as you'll get in Chicago. Moon Palace is a good choice if you want to sit and talk in a small more neighborhood like restaurant...they do a good job on everything as well. It's also nice that it's just barely off of the main Chinatown strip on Wentworth. Moon Palace is just north-west of it on Cermak.

Shui Wah for the best dim sum. Made to order. The Phoenix is also good for dim sum. Go there with a large group of people. It's a feeding frenzy. Good fun. Joy Yee's is very good for all kinds of Chinese food.
