How do you tune with a chromatic guitar tuner?

How do i Calibrate an Electric Guitar Tuner and tune guitar after?

• I stopped learning guitar for a while and when i tried to re tune it with my electric tuner( a KORG CA-30) it doesn't seem to sound right. I think the calibration was messed with. So how can i get my tuner back to the correct calibration and then how do i tune my electric guitar once i've found the correct calibration. i need someone to explain it to me like I'm an 8 year old cause i don't entirely get all the guitar words and stuff.

  make sure you have it calibated for A 440 When you have it 440 you hit the low E and let it ring out as you turn the tuning peg on the guitar the needle on the tuner will raise and lower ideally you want the green LED to be lit dead center and it will be in tune, do each string. E,A,D,G,B,E one at a time
