How can I update my TomTom Australia map?
-
I bought a TomTom 'One' in 2007 and needless to say there are hundreds of roads missing now, as it's never been updated. The only thing I can see is to download TomTom 'Home' to your computer then pay $AU99 for the 'Australia' map, however I think this is very unfair as the GPS was around $400 and now they want me to pay more? And roads are constantly being built, new suburbs are being created etc... Does that mean I have to pay $AU99 every time I want to update?! Any help on this ISSUE would be appreciated!

Answer:
Quite simply, yes, that is the cost of the update, becasue the update is copyrighted matierial, and you will be posessing a physical copy. That is simply the way copyright works. It is not that they want you to pay more, it is that you want the new data.
