Since microsoft dropped yahoo, is yahoos stock going to go down?

  • Yahoos price has been going up because of microsoft wanting yahoo. now that microsoft and yahoo cannot decide on a price, and microsoft is giving up, do you think that it is a pretty for sure thing that yahoos stock is going to go down? What do you think the odds are? why?

    yahoo leaders are stupid for not agreeing to the Microsoft deal. yahoo let google take over the market place, and needs a solidly profit driven company like Microsoft to get the company into shape. i own the yhoo stock, and if big M takes it to the shareholders, i'm going with M. BAD decision Yahoo board, bad decision... YES, THE STOCK IS GOING TO GO WAY DOWN.

Is the sky blue? Is grass green? This is exactly what Microsoft, and many analyst expected. They'll let the price of yahoo drop into the teens then buy Yahoo via hostile take-over.

I think Yahoo stock may go down temporarily. But I dont think this is over with yet. If it goes down I would hold, and maybe even buy more. I think MSFT is just trying to play hard ball.
