Where can I learn the basics of trading stocks?

I know there are the simulation sites that help you practice ans try things but I am even below that, where can I learn the very basics?

I have found www.wallstreetsurvivor.com to be a great starting point as far as an online simulation of investing in stocks. It's fun and you can learn about the market with their site. For a more in depth learning experience i suggest www.morningstar.com which is a site that my friend introduced me to because his economics class at his university suggests using it. And another simulation game that i play and actually prefer the most is www.smartstocks.com. Check these sites out and have fun learning about the stock market!
