Where to learn about stocks?

I want to learn about stocks. Like what age I have to be to buy them, what I should look for, where should I buy stocks from, all the stuff that people who work with stocks know. I like to read, so anything long will be good. I want to start investing...

I found weseed.com . but was wondering if there were any other GOOD websites out there to help me learn the process of buying and selling stocks? are there any other decent websites that let you "fake" trade on the virtual stock market?

I have about $20k and I would really love to learn how to play in the trade - stocks - bonds etc. I did find a website that offers a free intro to internet self trade - but it sounds a bit fishy. How do the big guns learn? Is it a university degree?...
