What happens with Delinquent Accounts on my credit report?

What happens (after many years) when deliquent accounts are no longer reported to credit report? better score?

  • A few deliquent accounts were set to stop being reported to my credit report early this year. I haven't checked yet, but I have been received credit card offers and one of them mentioned somethign about congratulations on my dilligence in my improved credit. Just a coincidence?

  • Answer:

    nope your score goes up when either you pay your bills or the creditors stop reporting either way congratulations, and stay out of the red!!!!!!

Request a copy of your credit report. By federal law, you are allowed one free copy from each of the three major agencies, every 12 months. Go to www.annualcreditreport.com to get them. Don't confuse this with the sites that ask for credit card information!! You shouldn't have to pay to get a copy of your reports. Good Luck!!

depends if the delinquint accouts are paid off by you or if it was wrote off by the company need more information because if it was written off thats usually on there eather way yep your score went up
