could be glow plugs, have you let it run out of diesel? as if you let a diesel car run out of diesel then you will need to bleed the fuel pump before it will start.

u got diesel in it.....stupid answer i no but it has been nown for people to put petrol in diesels by mistake..everything connected ok ie battery proper fixed in

If you mean it wont turn over, try the new battery terminals, could be dirty or loose, common problem. If it does turn over, check you are getting diesel to the pump

More information needed please! Does it turn over? Will it start if you push it and engage second gear? Have you been using biodiesel? Does it run OK is you do start it ?

SPARKFISH

Try using easy start spray in to the inlet of the car. I suspect the glow plugs are kaput. Ja.
