Brought a car used to have a personal number plate, the MOT has change to original number plate except the TAX disc. Does it legal? (got the DVLA certificate for change of number plate)

Answer:
How long is left on the tax disc? If its runs out in a week time then its ok as you can now go and get a new tax disc with the right info on it, if it doesn't run out in a week time you would have to contact the DVLA to have this changed immediately, as you will certainly come into problems, like for example if a parking attendant is about to issue you a ticket they look and take a photo of your tax disc and then jot down your licence plate, before issuing the parking fine, if these are showing 2 different numbers your car may get towed away instead due to this error and then you would have to produce the correct paperwork in order to get back your car, or if the police stops you on a stop and search routine and sees the car tax disc is not corresponding with your number plate they can in their rights seize the car from you and ask you to produce the correct details at a police station within 7 days. So contact the dvla and ask if they could send a replacement tax disc showing the correct info, they may charge a small fee to have this done, but call them up to find out what can be done.

Can't 100% understand your question as it makes no sense, but . . . . The registration number on the TAX disc MUST be the same as on the vehicle also the registration on your insurance certificate must also be the same otherwise the vehicle is NOT insured and must not be used/left on the road.

The tax disc changes, but they do not return it with the application, as you can still display it on your car, and when the documents arrive the replacement tax disc with the original plate comes with it. If you didn't receive the replacement disc, then go back to the DVLA Local Office who you posted/handed in the paperwork too or contact DVLA: http://www.dft.gov.uk/dvla/contactus/vehicles_enquiries.aspx
