Why do we feel more emotional watching a figure skating program than a gymnastics floor routine?

Being touched in an "inappropriate" way ?

• My teammates and I are having a very serious problems with our coach. I'm having a very hard time trying to talk to my parents and let them know what he's been doing to me and my mates. I was hoping that if I get a parent's input or an adults it would help me figure out the best way and when to tell them. The one thing that I don't understand is what we did to make him touch us ? The coach of our team is very young he just turned 23, but he knows that he's talking about when it comes to the sport of gymnastics. He's also very good-looking, and I suspect that some of the girls on the team, might have had a small crush on him, but of course they never acted on it because they felt it would be a waste of time since hes our coach and he's also on adult. During our first training session, he was very sweet and polite. He told us that not only does he want us to think of him as a coach, but also like a older brother or a mentor. He said if we ever needed to talk to him about anything gymnastics related or not, he would be there for us. A few months into serious training, he started to get really touchy with us. At first we just ignored it because sometimes coaches have to touch the gymnasts. He started touching us, when he didn't have to.Than he started massaging us, patting us on our bums, kissing us on the lips, forehead, and cheek, making us sit on his lap, etc.. My mate Emma and myself told him that we weren't comfortable with him kissing us and asked if he would mind not doing it. He told us that " that was just his way of showing us that he's proud of us and we'll get use to it." When he said that, Em and I just thought we were overreacting because no one else on the team seemed to be complaining. Than 3 months after that our team captain and also a very good mate of mine, Courtney had stopped coming to trainings. She never misses them. So I went to her flatt and I asked her were has she been and is everything okay ? She told me "no". Court told me that she doesn't want to be around our coach anymore. She went on to tell me, that one weekend he had invited her to have lunch with him in London. Courtney said that she was really excited, so she wanted to look her best. She said lunch went very well. They talked about ways to improve her gymnastics and such. Courtney said things got awkward when he asked if she wanted to go back to his flatt because he wanted to show her old videos of his former gymnasts. When they had gotten there, his girlfriend had gone out to visit family. She said while they were watching the videos, he had started putting his hand up her skirt and started kissing her on her neck. She told him to stop and she had started to cry. He told her that " he could see that she wants it" and "he notices how she flirts with him". She said it hurt so much and she trusted him. She said she didn't want her first time to by like that. She said after, he helped her put on her clothes and gave her a kiss on the forehead and asked her to keep it their "little secret". She said she keeps having nightmares and she wants to tell someone, but she said it was her fault. She lead him on. ".The next day me and the rest of the girls met at a cafe and discussed the problem. They said they've all been touched by him ( on the bum, chest, private areas.) Another member on our team Victoria said that he had forced himself on her and touched her, but didn't have sex with her. The same thing that happened to Victoria happened to me. He said he wanted to talk to me about something after training, so after the rest of my team left I went up to his office and we started talking about ideas for my floor routine. While we were talking, he started playing my with hair and he told me how "gorgeous my eyes are" then before I knew he started kissing me and I tried to push him off but he was too strong. Then he started to stick his hand into my leotard.. I really want to tell my mum and dad, because they know something is wrong. Sometimes I have nightmares and I start crying in my sleep. I can't focus on my gymnastics or school work because I'm always nervous about being around my coach. At the same time, me and the other girls feel guilty for everything and that we must have lead him or something in those months to make him do these things to us. Most of us on the team are between the ages of 16 to 18. Please any serious input would really help

  wow that really sucks you should go to court for sexual harassment. Maby even catch him on video i bet you could get some change and send that ****** to jail.
