How can I become more focused?

How do i become re-focused?

• i have lost focus in school.i use to have A's and high B's in school but i have have started not to care about my work or what i do . I want to get my grades back to where they use to be and get un-grounded because id rather be going on spring break with my friends than staying at home doing extra credit considering im 16. HELP , i need to change this .

  ...Imma need you to prioritize. Once you start prioritizing you will figure out what's most important to you and realize that some of the sacrifices you need to make aren't that big of a deal. EX: Hangout with friends vs doing homework and studying. Prioritize: Do homework and study because your friends (if they are your real friends) will be there later to hangout with. Homework has deadlines and consequences that are almost impossible to reverse. Work hard now, play hard later. Set time perimeters for a time for work and a time for play and use that as a guide. The harder you work now the less disappointment you will find if you plan on going on to college. I work in admissions at a university and it's sad how many students we constantly have to turn away because it was during the freshman and sophomore years where they didn't do well and guess what it's ten times harder to build a low gpa into a higher one. Often we tell students that they have no other choice than to go to a community college and transfer over when they are juniors at 40 credits. Not to say that is bad, but students get to have that full on college campus experience vs an upgraded high school experience. This my opinion based on observations, please keep that in mind.
