How do i handle someone who's taking advantage of us Part 2?

  • Thankyou guys for all your answers, i guess what i want to know is how do i handle the hurtful feelings i have that he sometimes prioritizes her needs over mine. She know's exactly how this affects me, but won't stop. i want to resort to violence and have said so but my husband get's upset. More advice please.

    That is something you need to talk to him about. That is something he will have to do, but make sure you leave him room to meet her needs, too. Don't be so upset at her that anything he does for her causes a fight. do things for her together, so you spend time with him, and she sees you with him. And when you are not upset, and not in the middle of a discussion about this, try to talk to him, not that you need to be more importnat than her, but that you have needs and really need some of his attention. Don't make it an issue with her, but try to explain that you just need him, and you need to know you are important to him.

Be the adult in the situation. Violence will only get you jail time. As good as it feels to take your anger out on someone it isn't worth the time, effort, or the headaches that follow up. Go do something else that's stress relieving and forget about that person. Edit: sorry, I read part of your problem wrong. You need to talk to your husband about him prioritizing the other person and that it hurts you. I'm not familiar with who this other person is, but I know if it's his family, you may not have luck with that. But like I said up top, Be the Adult and let it slide even though it makes you mad.
