When to take AP economics?

Should I take AP Economics? Is it worth it?

  • I'm a senior right now. I don't know if I should stay in the class. I'm not 100% if I want to take the AP test because it costs $87 and I can't afford it because of all the senior events like; formal $50 prom $90, Grad night $80, cap and gown $60 plus all the dresses and gas and stuff. In college I plan to major in Biology. I'm not sure if you need Econ or not. I was just wondering if it is better to take the online class because they actually do offer it and I don't have as many classes this semester so it will be better. I'm not sure though. Should I stay in the class or take it online?

    dear, economics is of the rich - by the rich - for the rich......and poors like you ( and me) tread in there only to labor for them like a mental slave. When you thinking so many pros and cons.....it's not for you - you will blast yourself ! All the economic intelligentsia is fake - the experts sign on someone else's (mostly PAs to CEOs) scripts and allow their name and fame be used for the cause of the elite. better do Biology. Oh, I missed a point.....economics is not a science - otherwise why they would asking one another's views every alternate day ?

You should take it. Even if you don't study business or economics in college, it should at least transfer over to your college as credit. That's probably 3 credits less you'll need to take in college, which is super helpful if you want to graduate on time.

Seriously, do you care about your future more or about the seniors events more??? Where are they going to take you. This things are just for a particular time but your career is for a life time. I think the question should be how much you want to develop your life or how you want to look........

Forget it. It isn't a prerequisite for bio, and it won't teach you (real) economics, so what's the point?
