Is it possible to determine your ethnicity through your blood?

I don't know how to determine my ethnicity, help?

  • I really want to know my ethnicity, my last name ( from my dad ) is Snyder and my mother's last name ( no longer my mother ) is Penyack, I'm pretty sure that's how you spell it. I have been told that you can determine ethnicity by what you look like, my picture is to the left but incase you can't see I have auburn hair, hazel eyes, I am not fair skinned but It is not olive kind of in the middle. Thanks!

  • Answer:

Do what everyone else does, pick one and keep alternates for drinking holidays. Snyder is German, Penyack and assorted variations sounds like Czech, although variations in spelling could put it in a half dozen countries. So between the two you most likely originate from the one of the polygot empires of eastern Europe. German is pretty vague as well. You can be German and from the Ukraine, Germans got around a lot in Europe. Knowing their religious brand might narrow down which country a little, but not much.
