Whats the best acoustic guitar for a beginner?
-
Well i play the drums and i want to learn something new. What kind of guitar can i get thats under 200 dollars thats good? Im gonna have the guitar for a long time so I dont want a newbie guitar

Answer:
$200 is the minimum you can spend for a reliable beginner's acoustic guitar. Spend less and you'll be getting a guitar that very well might hold you back. Acceptable brands are Ibanez, Epiphone, Yamaha, and Fender. Bring a friend who plays if at all possible. This is by definition a newbie guitar and if you're successful in learning guitar you're going to want to upgrade sooner than you think. I understand that $200 might seem like a lot of money now but eventually you'll get the whole picture. Good luck. Don't forget to take lessons.
