How are blue and pink iridium lenses for night?

Why do the pro baseball outfielders wear fire iridium lenses?

• I have been looking for oakley lenses for the outfield and thought that the vr28 black polarized lenses would be good. You don't see many outfielders with this tint though. So which would be better? Fire iridium polarized or vr28 black iridium polarized

  It all depends on what you like. I"m not a fan of the green tint of the fire lens. The fire lens isn't a contrast enhancing lens like the VR28 is, however. It turns the white base path and foul lines green and washes them out with comparison to the field. I think most people wear fire because the lens is "pretty" not for performance reasons. Most pro players don't NEED that much help so they can afford to look cool. Again, as with my last post, color and brightness are subjective.
