What is a drilling engineering?

• Hello everyone, please please read this and answer my questions because it is going to be my life time decision. I met this super nice guy on a matrimonial website. says he is a Drilling Engineer,widowed, with 5 yr old girl. I am a very well settled Nurse with a six figure salary and a 17 and 14 yr old girls. We spoke online for few weeks. he said he worked all over the world. currently, he is working on his own venture in Cameroon, Penninsula. he is drilling his own oil well. he said he invesed all of his life time earnings and $250 k of loans on this venture. currently, he is in Cameroon working on his venture. At that time, I did not know any thing about it. i just fell in love with him and decided to work it out with him. recently, I am having some of these fallowing thoughts. 1. was that a premature decision to believe someone and want to work it out with? 2. what is a drilling engineer? can they own an oil well anywhere in the world? how long do they drill an oil well? will they have a stable income? how can we trust them whether they own this business or not? I am so much confused and currently another doctor showing interest in me. what should i do now? I never met, or seen this drilling engineer. but, i met this doctor and we spent a few hrs. he likes me and is willing to start a family in an year. what should I do? what can be a smart choice? thakyou so much for taking your time.
