Whats another word for 'no choice'?

  • 'We do it out of...., not out of choice.' whats the missing word? we do it because we are hopeless and we have no choice but whats a good word to put in that sentence? Thanks :)

depends on what you are doing. you could be taking care of a child, then it could be 'love', or 'necessity'. If it is something that is unpleasant it could be 'out of need', or if it was a forced decision, 'out of obligation'
