you need to check with you bank both on their transfer policy and their funds availability policy. it also depends on how the money is sent, bank wire vs western union etc., and the policies of the sender. many banks do business on saturday, but usually limited hours as well. for instance, paypal will send/rec. money all the time, but wont transfer money into or out of your bank acct. on sat., sun. or holidays.

It depends to which bank you go to, Usually most of the banks are open from Monday to Friday, But with our bad economy, some banks are open on Saturdays for half a day, they call it customers service but actually it's one way of luring more customers

No i dont personally believe so but its a 2 sided sword because they dont allow money to pass via a cheque but they will charge u that extra day if in debt so to speak!! I know via experience well thats TSB anyway! GOOD LUCK!

Only the US Post Office has a regular delivery day on Saturadays. Most mailing methods do not typically cover saturdays, unless you paid for Sat delivery.

Technically it is not a business day but items can still clear through the banks at weekends - call the bank.
