Tshirts anad transfer paper?

  • ive seen a guy print out a design on "transfer paper" and put it on a shirt... do you need some kind of special ink to print your own designes..? i was confused when i watched the video because he did it on his own printer but used just used the transfer paper instead of the regular paper. he transfered the design in a differant video... but can you just use transfer paper to put designs on a t-shirt? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQpWvqgWMx8

    You can get t-shirt transfer paper in craft stores and office supply stores. It will come with directions. You buy laser or inkjet depending on your printer. Basically you find the picture you want, flip it backwards and print it. Iron according to the instructions and then it will be right side out on your shirt. .

I didn't watch the video, but you can buy T-Shirt transfer paper at Wal-Mart, print the design on your inkjet or laser printer, and then iron it on your shirt following the directions. It's really easy.

And to add to the above comments........before you print out your design make sure you change the paper type in your print options on your computer as it will effect the image you print.......I printed out a picture of my grandaughter and forgot to change the paper style in the print options and the image was not as clear......Second time round I changed it and it printed out beautifully and I have a very inexpensive printer and it turned out great....and .......the transfer paper can also be located with all the other photo paper which ever store you choose from.......I found mine at walmart with all the printer papers.....but I know not all stores are set up the same...Good Luck...........
