Difference between fullscreen and widescreen?

Goblet of Fire: Widescreen or fullscreen?

  • Is there a difference between the two besides the obvious? The widescreen says that it is a "special edition?" Does anyone know the difference...does it have special cast interviews the fullscreen doesn't? tell me if you have one or the other.

    The Widescreen is ideal for large TV's, and yes this is the obvious, I am sorry for that reply. And I have researched the problem. "Widescreen Special Edition" has these features: 2 Pack, Color, Closed Captioned, Special Edition, In English, and Subtitled in English, French, Spanish. The "Fullscreen Edition" has all those features except "2 Pack". I am sure that the "Widescreen Edition" has many, many more additional scenes, and backstage footage, as well as a timeline and interviews with the cast and crew. The "Fullscreen Edition", however, does not.

Full screen of course... to get the full effect. I always thought Full screen gave me the best experience. And with that much graphics, you cannot go wrong with full screen. Enjoy ;)

I suggest wide screen. Full screen erases about 10 to 20% of the view.

if you buy the full screen edition, you don't get any special features...

widescreen you see more of the picture .. full screen cuts some of the picture off

At the place I buy movies from they have both full and wide screen "special edition" available with all the extra stuff. The cases should lok the same but across the top should denote which "screen" it is

Wide screen is suppossed to give you a better or bigger view of things to the sides of the screen that get a little cut off in full screen.
