What does the size '5m' mean in horse riding boots?

  • I am buying some horse riding boots and it says the only size is, '5m' what does this mean? I was thinking it meant size 5! But don't want to order them encase they are the wrong size.

Usually the m means men's, and the w means women's. The men's boots are generally 2 sizes larger than the women's and have more toe space. (At least in the US.) Try them on to find out what works best for you. Remember to try them on with thick socks. You'll likely be riding in cold weather and need the space for them.

Size 5, medium calf. If I were you I would go and try a few pairs of boots on at a saddler where you can see what you are getting.
