On Facebook, some pictures wont even show up?

When I go on facebook and I want to look at my friend's pictures, some of the pictures doesnt show up, like when I opened up the album and how the pictures are spread out, some pictures are shown and some picturs became blank. does anyone know what is the problem and if you know please help me.
