How to get the new facebook messages and chat ?

I have the REALLY old chat and messages like the history doesn't show up in my messages still and it's really annoying, i just made this account i deleted my old one which had all the new stuff.. how can i get the new messages and chat ? i tried requesting an invitation but it has been like 2 weeks NOTHING... HELP and no spam please
