Why is my facebook chat not working properly?

Why is it that every other line I type into facebook chat says "sending" and then the chat cuts out....and what I typed, may or may not show. I have to refresh the page just to make my chat work again...

Well Facebook is have some issues and their fixing it and so u just ahve to wait it out i guess.
That happened to me once before. I'll think I sent something in chat but then it didn't go thru so I had to re type the whole thing over again. It works fine for me, now, so I think you just have to wait it out. Close out of chat and then go back in. Or just log out of facebook totally, log back in and log back into chat.
cuzz thats the way facebook is. you cant relly fix it. happens to EVERYONE
