How to get of facebook on a school laptop?

  • i have a school laptop. i am allowed to bring it home. i connect to my wifi at home and i still am not able to get onto facebook. i really want on it please help me.

    Download tor. https://www.torproject.org/ It will bypass it, although you may have to change identities a few times until you get facebook in English (there are "stations" all over the world) To really understand it just read the FAQ and stuff on the website I posted above. Also, if someone from the school is going to be checking the computer, or you are turning it in. Even if they are just using it quickly, make sure remove Tor from the computer first, to avoid trouble.

If the laptop has it blocked due to school resources, then there isn't anything you can do. But, i would try getting an ipod or something to hook up to the wifi. That might work. If not try putting an s between the url address for facebook. That worked for me.

Even though the Laptop is at your home it is still the Property of the school and they have the last say on what sites you log onto?
