Is there any way to get the old settings for facebook back?

I'm unable to get Facebook texts, or even register for them...?

• I'm trying to register for Facebook texts, where you get texts when you get notifications, messages, etc. I go to "Settings" on my account and to "Mobile". When I select "Register for Facebook text messages", it gives me directions similar to this: text the letter "f" to 32665. Once I do this, I'm supposed to get a text in response with a code to use to register. I've tried many times and never have gotten a responding text, making it impossible for me to continue through the steps to register. I've checked to make sure that I have service on my phone and everything. Why is it doing this? Is there another way I can register? I have an enV2 (and I have Verizon) if that helps.

  I believe it's fb that you text to 32665 I read somewhere that one may need to turn their phone off and back on if they are not getting texts. Otherwise I would call Verizon and see what they think. I'm on a network that is not supported by facebook at all so unfortunately I can't help further but I hope this offers a little help anyway.
