Is it possible to unintentionally add someone on MSN messenger?
-
I deleted someone I know from my contact list on MSN messenger, only to find that he added me back very shortly after. I am very confused by this because given the current state of affairs, it is very unlikely for this person to want to add me again. So I was wondering if he could have done this unintentionally? For example, is there a function that lets one add all the people from their email address book onto MSN messenger by default? I am thinking he may have decided to do this soon after I deleted him, coincidentally, so that my name just got added in with the other people's from his address book whose addresses he didn't have as MSN messenger contacts. In other words, he didn't add me *personally*, just added a 'list' of contacts in from his email address book in which I think he has me. Is this possible? And is there a way he would have known that I deleted him from my network? I'm kind of hoping he knows.

Answer:
It is possible, for instance, you can save your entire friends list. If he did this, before deleting you/being deleted by you, then you'll still be on that list. I'm not 100%, but it'd make sense that if he did reload this list, and you were no longer a part of his actual friends list, it may well re-add you? Also, if your profile is set so that only friends can view the information, if he tried to look, then yes, he'd know, if not, then no he wouldn't know, they wouldn't send him an email saying he'd been deleted by you.

No, you must intentionally add someone to your list. He could have unintentional clicked the wrong thing, like "accept" or something but you have to intentionally choose to put someone on your list. if you gave him permission before and you don't want it now, you can shoot them an email and the techs will take care of it for you.
