My msn shows some people online when they are actually offline.

On msn, why does it always show me as offline? (im not on appear offline)?

  • k, when i am on msn, people dont know that i am online, because msn shows me as offline, i dont know why and how do i fix this? and no i am not on appear offline.

    There is issues now but you can try : Appearing Offline in MSN? Appearing Offline in MSN, 2010-3-23 1. Login your MSN messenger, 2. Login your hotmail from MSN 3. find the available status on the second line. Then print the Pull-down menu and select Automatically sign in from this location Login your MSN messenger again ( Note: keep in your hotmail page is opened)

MSN went retarded for a little while. Offline solution suggests sign in from hotmail on the MSN site and you will appear online.

Me too. 5 hours into it. :) Everyone else is facing the same issue. But what I did to appear online to my contacts is that I went on hotmail, there's a button next to Options that displays your status on it, click on it, and click Sign in to Messenger(Web).
