How to upload videos to YouTube from my website?

Will I lose video quality if I upload videos on the actual youtube website?

  • I already did my video project on sony vegas & rendered it "AVI" , but for some reason I keep getting these weird error messages when I try to upload my videos on vegas, so my only choice right now is to upload the videos from the actual youtube website. Will I lose video quality. Again my video format is on "AVI".

YouTube compresses video uploads and this may or may not result in a loss of quality, depending on the original quality and format of your video. Full HD at 1920x1080 is supported pretty well, although the viewing quality depends on the viewer's connection and computer. For HD video, I render to the built-in Blu-ray 1080 profiles and upload that to YouTube. The results are usually excellent, with very modest loss of quality.
