-
Hi! I have reinstalled Windows 7 (clean install) so so all my previous files are stored in folder called windows.old. Before I reinstalled Windows I forget to export all my bookmarks from Chrome. I tried to start my old version of Chrome, but it wouldn't have any of it, so since all the files are still there is possible to some how export the bookmarks anyway? It must be stored in some file.

Answer:
It could be that your bookmarks are saved in some path named by your previous windows login name. Somewhere like C:\Documents and Settings\[user name]\Application Data You should find that folder and cover the current folder with the old one, then the bookmarks will reappear. I see both mozilla firefox and avant browser put the profile same way so I assume chrome creates the profiles folder under same folder.
