My computer wont send any type of messages through myspace, facebook, and doesnt load hotmail.com?

on myspace and facebook the sites let me type the message but it never sends.... and on hotmail i type in the url and the pages loads but its black and just says done at the bottom left hand corner.... this is really frustrating me cause i have no clue whats wrong with this laptop can anyone help?
