Why am I unable to open some links in Internet Explorer?

Why are some internet explorer links not working?

• Sometimes when I click a link nothing happens. I've tried the ctrl & click option, but that only works for some links. Some web pages load looking odd & not as up to date. when refining searches on sites like ebay I cat click anything at all & right-clicking doesn't do a thing either. I am growing impatient & i've been told that its my internet options, but ive changed them to certain specifications that don't work either. i've disabled my virus blocking software & pop up blocker already & that doesn't work either. pleas help!!

  I assume you tried rebooting your computer already? You could also try turning your router and/or modem off and on. They can sometimes get flaky and act this way. One time I had a lot of "page could not be displayed" errors sometimes, and if I refreshed the page, it would then load. That actually turned out to be a bad router.... Hope that's not the problem for you though since it's hard to test unless you have another router lying around.
