Is there any way to uninstall Explorer 7?

How can i uninstall internet explorer 8?

• i have windows vista. i tried to upgrade to internet explorer 8 but when it installed, it didnt work correctly, but now i cant uninstall it. i understand that its not considered a program, but an update. when i tried to uninstall the update that said "windows internet explorer 8" it said it couldnt uninstall it because all the updates werent installed correctly. because my internet explorer doesnt work, it has affected windows media player because windows media player, itunes, and and all the other ones uses internet explorer to get the media information to rip cds. and thats all i want. i dnt care about having internet explorer because i have firefox but i dnt want to have to manually add the information from the cd everytime i want to rip it. how do i restore my internet explorer back to normal, or is there a way i can make mozilla firefox the browser for windows media player?

  you can not uninstal internet explorer it is part of windows.what you could try is to do a system restore, if that doesn't help,try searching windows update for a repair to internet explorer tool.good luck
