What are SAT II's for?

SAT IIs and which subjects?

  • As a C student in math, but in Calculus AP, Math 1 or Math 2 for SAT II? As a B student in science, all honors (Bio, Chem, Phys), and in AP Physics, which SAT II? Is there a good way to prepare for these?

  • Answer:

You should take the subjects that you feel sure you will do well in, and are comfortable with. I recommend you take at least one math and one science. Try investing in some study guide books. I recommend the Princeton Review books - but only for the subject tests though!) Try getting two/three books, (depending on how many subjects you are planning to take - one book for each subject) and study them. They are a great review! As for your academics, just pick up your pace and start to study hard from now on, so that it will be easier for you when it comes to studying for the tests. Good luck.

For science, i would suggest taking the SAT2 in a subject youre currently taking, in this case Physics. Go for that. Taking a science SAT2 that you arent currently taking could be bad, you wont remember much lol As for the math, you should go for Math 2 since you will know all the material, but maybe take Math 1 as well if you want, it wont hurt
