Studying Tips for Dyslexics?

I'm a Senior in High School and taking A.P. Biology. (Note: I'm not use to all the hard work because I transferred public to private the middle of my Junior year.) I want to succeed in this class and possibly have a career in Medicine. But there is a problem....my Dyslexia. I'm not quite sure, but I believe that I have the three categories that Dyslexic has. I also have the symptom where I start to fall asleep when I'm reading a (Text) book. (Except I don't seem to have that problem with reading, which I enjoy.) Even my ADHD doesn't seem to keep me awake. I have trouble studying and remembering.... only about half of the things go through my head. Even the short-term memory problem that I have because of my Dyslexia is making me feel stupid. I'm asking is there any sorts of studying tips, especially for Dyslexic people that involve; Text book reading and how to stay awake. And also Memory tips. And yes I know I should ask the teacher for help, but I don't want to be told to drop out and I already get extra time. Please and Thank you!
