How can I get my sleep pattern back on track?

So back to school and all summer I've been staying up till 2am and now I have to get up at 6am to get to school, and I've been sleeping poorly 4 hours a night it becomes a bad cycle cuz one night I can't sleep then the next night I'm tired but worried about not falling asleep so I don't and it repeats, do I have insomnia? I'm 17

Hey, i'm the same age and have kind of the same problem, but not as severe. The way to do this is to take it gradually. You have to start going to bed like 5-10 minutes earlier everyday, instead of just going to bed at like 9 o'clock and trying to sleep :P If you keep doing this consistently, your sleeping habits should change. It's like quiting cold turkey, it doesn't really work.
