If you match your gain to your pre out voltage, and keep your gain at around 1/2. you should be fine.. Also do not use any loud/bass enhancements as they push distortion, and THAT will blow your sub...

You will blow it yeah, the peak cannot be fed continously. You have to look at nominal power, or continous power as in Watts RMS. Look at what your subs continous power handling is, i bet its arround 300 watts rms. Then amp continous power handling also needs to be arround same as subs.
