HELP! Sent in my CA unemployment claim late what happens next?
-
I mailed the form in 10 days late, what will happen to my unemployment claim, and how will EDD notify me if not at all. I have not heard anything since Dec 13 over a month, and I have sent EDD numerous emails and tried to call with no success. I HAVE DONE A TON OF RESEARCH ONLINE BUT HAVE FOUND NOTHING. Is my unemployment claim suspended or what?

Answer:
They will send you a letter telling you that they have scheduled you for a telephone interview, when it is, and what number they will call. Make sure that the phone with that number is working and that you are with that phone for the entire time during which they say they might call. When they call, they will ask you why you were late, and maybe some other questions.
