Do I need to file a new claim to receive extended unemployment benefits in New York?

I filed my original claim on 8/22/2011- According to the site, I qualify for Tier 1. Do I need to file a new claim or just continue to claim my weekly benefits? Tier 1 (20 weeks) - to qualify, you must: Have filed initial claim for regular unemployment by 8/22/2011 Exhaust 26 weeks of regular benefits by 2/26/2012 Start claiming EUC by 3/4/2012

No...u just keep claiming. You will get a msg if u nee to refile...on since 7/6/11. Never asked me to refile
