How to change what program to my utorrent instead of vuze?

Help with Utorrent...?

• So I used to have utorrent on my computer and it was frequently used. But then I lost my internet for months, I deleted the program from my computer, and such. Now, I just recently got my internet back, so I downloaded the program once more. However, no whenever I try to download and torrent, it says the following,"...torrent such and such could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences." What does this mean? I'm using The Pirate Bay, but that's the program I used originally, and it's always worked fine. How do I fix this?

  Uninstall uTorrent and install BitTorrent, it looks almost the exact same, but I have never had a problem with it. There are some more clients, but I've only ever used BitLord(~decent~), uTorrent(~pretty good~), and BitTorrent(~best~) Also, you are better off sticking with TPB, they are one of the safest sites to torrent from, other than that you can use Hexagon.cc, Fenopy, SumoTorrent, and KickAssTorrents. a quick google search of the name will take you there right away...
